I always intend on taking more picture when we travel, but then I get home with only a few. We had a great time in Utah, it was mostly just visiting family and playing with cousins, but since we don't live very close to much family it was fun to see everyone.
We had a picnic at the park with my Dad's family, and the highlight of the evening was Aunt Lisa's new dog Harvey. He loved the attention.
We went to the zoo with grandma, grandpa, Uncle Jimmy and family, and Olivia.
I realized last year that I only had one family photo for the whole year, so I''m trying to take more.
The highlight was the polar bear, he is new to the zoo and was very active.
It was a bright and sunny day
We also went to Lava Hot Springs Idaho for the annual Peay family reunion, we did a lot of swimming and river rafting and I was too scared to bring my camera because I didn't want it to get wet.
Caleb and a friend went for a hike the day after 4th of July they couldn't get all the way to the top because their trail disappeared into snow. They did find a nice waterfall and I trusted Caleb with my nice camera so he was able to take some nice pictures.
Caleb went into the waterfall and got the bottom of his feet cut up.
On the fourth of July Julie and Anna came up for the day and we went to the beach here on post. The weather wasn't too hot yet which was nice for sitting on the beach but not nice for being in the water, it was COLD. We still had a good time visiting and playing with the girls.
This is Megan's favorite picture pose for the moment, she always says 'cheese' when she strikes the pose.
Caleb and Anna went out to the dock to go down the slide and dive off. They got in trouble for doing flips, there are a lot of rules here on post.
After the beach we went to the fair on post which was nice, wandering around looking at all the booths, playing a few games and eating an elephant ear and a fried Twinkies (which was sadly not very good). Then we went home for a barbecue and then went to see the fireworks, it was a very busy and fun day!!
We invited a lot of people, but only a few showed up for the party. It was better for the adults because it wasn't as crazy but Megan was a little disappointed, but after I explained that she could get more candy from the pinata if there weren't as many kids, she got over it quick.
I'm not an expert party planner yet so it was pretty much the same as Alyssa's party. There was a few rounds of musical chairs.
It was a Strawberry shortcake party so we played pin the strawberry on the vine.
Of course there was cake. Pink cupcakes with pink frosting on a pink tray, what more could a girl want!
We tried to make our own pinata to look like a strawberry but after waiting three days to let it dry and it was still wet, we ran to the store to buy one instead. (I think it didn't dry because it rained for those three days off and on and there was just to much moisture in the air)
Later that night grandma and grandpa bell came for a visit and the girls had fun playing getting lots of attention from them. Can't believe my baby is four, she starts preschool next year and can not wait.
Caleb and I met during the summer of 2003. I went up to Oregon to live with my friend Michele for the summer and he was in the ward. We quickly started dating, but then I had to go back to Provo to finish school at BYU, but we kept dating long distance and visiting almost every other month. We finally decided to get married and Caleb moved to Provo. Since then I have graduated BYU with a Degree in Geography and Caleb is almost done with his Accounting degree from Stevens Henager College. We also have had two beautiful girls, Alyssa who is 5 and Megan who is 3.
